THE PORT OF GENOA

FOR THOSE WHO ARRIVE BY CAR

Port of Genoa Cruise Terminal - Ponte dei Mille / Andrea Doria From the A10 (Autostrada dei Fiori), A7 (Milan-Genoa) and A26 (Alessandria-Genoa) highways, take the Genova Ovest exit. Then follow the signs for the Port of Genoa.

FOR THOSE WHO ARRIVE BY TRAIN

Genoa Piazza Principe station is about 1 km from the port. You can reach the port by taxi (2 minutes depending on traffic). The Genova Brignole railway station is located about 4 km from the port and can be reached by bus or taxi.

FOR THOSE WHO ARRIVE BY PLANE

The Cristoforo Colombo airport is about 10 km from the port.
Served by taxi and bus.
The bus will take you directly to Genoa Porta Principe train station.

PORT OF CIVITAVECCHIA

The city and the port of Civitavecchia, an important cruise slipway and embarking/disembarking port for various cruises, are about 80 km from Rome and 70 from Leonardo da Vinci airport, in Fiumicino.

How to reach the boarding point

By CAR

You can get to the port by car going along the highway A12: your exit is Civitavecchia Nord.

We suggest Civitavecchia Nord also for those who come from the south because you can reach the port in a faster and easier way.

Follow the directions, and you’ll reach Varco Vespucci, the only port entrance for motor vehicles. Then you have to follow the direction for the boarding pier. There are two boarding pier: Pier 24/25 and Bramante Pier. You can find them at the opposite grounds of the port. Both piers have parking areas that are 100 meters far from the pier, but it’s better to get a shuttle bus if you have a lot of baggage.

From Fiumicino Airport

Fiumicino Airport is about 70 km from Civitavecchia. Many companies plan transfers, by taxi or by train from and to the airport.

FITNESS DANCE CRUISE CHECK-IN STAND

Come to check-in stand reserved for Fitness Dance Cruise, to handle boarding formalities. Remember that it’s compulsory to pick up your badge, that’s necessary for our activities, included in the package (events, parties, dance classes...). From the beginning of the cruise, put on the label that we’ll give with your travel documents: it’s marked with your name, surname and cabin number. Boarding schedule are indicated in the cruise details (you can find it in your travel documents). Before boarding we’ll check your travel documents and your personal IDs.

INSURANCE

If you have any problem please contact us thanks to our Fitness Dance Cruise desk. It’s not possible to ask for repayment without having already contacted the operation centre.

ONBOARD PAYMENT

The only non-included compulsory payment is the service charge, which costs 70€ for adults and 35€ for children between the age of 4 and 14 (it’s free for children up to 4 years). All extra payments (drinks, excursions...) will be charged with your service charge to your CARTACABINA. We’ll deliver to your cabin a personal Costa card for every participant. Every purchase will be charged to Costa card. You can pay the bill at the end of the cruise in two different ways: you can register your personal credit card (Visa, MasterCard, and American Express) or your cash card (we can’t accept prepaid cards). You can also make a 150 dollars per person cash deposit payment (in the following days it’s possible to increase the budget, if the deposit is running out of money). In the first 48 hours, Costa card could be disabled in case of purchases higher than 200 euro/dollars (if not covered by a cash deposit or a personal credit/cash card).

CATERING

Our onboard menu offers a rich and various selection of Italian and international cuisine. There are also vegetarian and dietetic options. Lunch: passengers may choose between free service buffets or waiter service restaurants. Dinner: we have reserved for you the second shift, with waiter service (approximately at 21:15/ 21:30 (the exact time will be communicated onboard). We’ll dispose pre-assigned tables, that will be communicated onboard.

INTERNET CONNECTION

We offer not only a 24-hour satellite and Wi-Fi connection, but also an Internet Point. Access and costs information are available onboard, one device at a time. The cost will be charged directly to your Costa card.

Data package:
The perfect package if you want to surf the Internet or check your social network occasionally. There are no time limitation, but only data limits, ranging from 250 MB to 3 GB (for example 3GB with no time limits for 109.00€).

Social package:
For those who can’t get along without social network and chatting with friends. On the basis of 4 euro per day, it includes access to: Facebook, Facebook Messenger, Twitter, WhatsApp, Threema, Snapchat, Googleplus, Instagram, Pinterest, Tumblr, Xing, LinkedIn. You can get it per day or for the entire cruise duration (ex. 5€ for 24-hour access).

WELLNESS CENTER

We have a beauty shop, where you can have a haircut or hair-set for a special night and there’s also a Barber Shop, always available for you. The wellness center offers you every kind of treatment: a lifting massage, a steam room, a sauna. Then try to relax on a hot tub or on a lounge chair, drinking a Japanese teacup. Costa comforts are always unique, but the top is the Samsara, a Spa that is present only in some of Costa cruises. It’s an authentic health farm inspired by Eastern culture, a peaceful heaven close to the sea and on the highest deck of the cruise!
